IIM Mumbai provides seven programs across various Business and Management disciplines. The application process for all programs at NITIE Mumbai is conducted online. The application fee is INR 1,000 for applicants from India and SAARC countries and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. International applicants are required to pay a fee of USD 50 plus any applicable bank charges. Eligible candidates can apply through the institute’s official admission portal. IIM Mumbai provides financial assistance to outstanding students through several scholarship schemes:
Teaching Assistantship: GATE-qualified candidates are eligible for a Teaching Assistantship valued at Rs. 12,400 monthly, along with contingency expenses as per applicable rules.
Central Sector Scholarship: SC/ST candidates may receive it per the Government of India’s scheme, provided they meet the required terms and conditions.
30% Tuition Fee Waiver: Students entering the postgraduate program whose total family income was Rs. 2.50 lakh or less in the previous financial year are eligible for a 30% waiver on tuition fees.
50% Tuition Fee Waiver: Students entering the postgraduate program whose total family income was Rs. 1 lakh or less in the previous financial year are eligible for a 50% waiver on tuition fees.
Spanning 67 acres, NITIE Mumbai boasts a modern campus designed to enhance the student experience. The institute features a well-equipped library with diverse technical and reference books, light reading materials, bound journals (in Hindi, English, and Marathi), and other supplementary resources. By Train: The closest railway station is Kanjurmarg Railway Station, approximately 3 kilometres from NITIE. Alternatively, Vikhroli Railway Station is about 5 kilometres away. You can reach NITIE from either the station by taxi or by auto-rickshaw.
By Road: NITIE is well-connected by road. You can take a taxi, auto-rickshaw, or use app-based cab services to reach the institute. Powai, where NITIE is located, is accessible from various parts of Mumbai.

IIM Mumbai, formerly NITIE, admits students based on CAT scores. Like other IIMs, IIM Mumbai will have two CAT cutoffs: the Qualifying CAT cutoff and the Final CAT cutoff. Meeting the minimum qualifying cutoff makes a candidate eligible for subsequent stages of the admission process. It is important to note that the Final CAT cutoff for IIM Mumbai will be higher than the Qualifying cutoff. For admissions in 2024, the Qualifying CAT cutoff for IIM Mumbai is set at 80 percentile or above, with sectional cutoffs ranging between 75 and 80 percentiles for General category candidates.
