What is NMAT ?

NMAT, also known as NMAT by GMAC, is a national-level entrance exam used for MBA admissions at NMIMS University and other prestigious B-Schools in India and abroad. Originally conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, GMAC now oversees its administration. NMAT is designed with candidate convenience in mind, allowing test-takers to select their preferred exam date and venue during a specified testing window using the NMAT scheduling option.
Similar to GMAT, NMAT permits candidates to self-schedule their test, choosing the date, time, and venue based on seat availability at their preferred test centre. This national-level entrance exam is conducted annually over a specified number of days within the test window.
The NMAT by GMAC score is determined by candidates’ performance across three sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning.

NMAT 2024 Application Process

The first step in the NMAT 2024 admission process is filling out the application form. Candidates must complete their NMAT exam registration within the specified timeframe. Candidates are required to pay an application fee of INR 2,800 (excluding GST) for slot booking (scheduling) the exam. Payment can be made online using options like Debit Card, MasterCard, Mobile Wallet, among others.
After completing NMAT registration, candidates can utilize the test reschedule option available in their student account. Rescheduling the NMAT 2024 test requires applying for the NMAT exam reschedule option within 72 hours of the test date and schedule. NMAT rescheduling steps can be managed through the candidate dashboard. The fee for retaking the exam is INR 2,800, while rescheduling incurs a fee of INR 1,200.
NMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The exam conducting authority has outlined the eligibility criteria for NMAT 2024 as follows. Candidates must meet these requirements before registering for NMAT:
• Completion of graduation under the 10+2+3 or four-year education pattern in any stream.
• Attainment of at least 50% aggregate marks in the final year of graduation.
• Candidates awaiting results or in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply for NMAT 2024. Admission will be provisional until submission of the graduation mark sheet and certificate of the qualifying examination.
• Candidates should also review the specific eligibility criteria of NMAT-participating colleges before registering for the exam. Applicants must select five preferred institutes for admission during the application process, each of which may have its own admission criteria.

NMAT Admission Process 2024

The NMAT 2024 admission process comprises six key stages:
• Application Form Submission- Candidates are required to complete and submit the NMAT 2024 application form within the specified timeframe.
